Following a successful 2016, Lexus is looking forwards to an exciting 2017, with new models, features and concepts coming to whet the appetite of the brand’s many admirers.
With the hope of maintaining the high level of luxury, attention to detail and customer service, chief branding officer and master driver Akio Toyoda is looking to lead the brand to even further success. From the start of the year, Lexus showed off its intention by displaying the new IS premium saloon, which was officially launched at the North American International Motor Show in Detroit.
It uses Lexus’s new global architecture for luxury vehicles, which is also the underpinnings for the new LC coupe, which uses both V8 and hybrid powertrains to ensure a wide range of options and driving styles.
The LC 500h will be the first Lexus to utilise the Multi Stage Hybrid System, which is an evolution of Lexus Hybrid Drive that offers a more direct response and dynamic performance inspired by the supreme LFA supercar.
Also, the new IS saloon, which has been one of Lexus’s most popular modern models, is also being relaunched in its third generation. The luxury saloon provides excellent comfort and while maintaining some of the distinctive features of the previous edition, the look has been updated to look even fresher for 2017. As well as new underpinnings to help it perform even better, the IS is ready to take on 2017 with plenty to offer.
So 2017 is looking like an action-packed year for the premium brand, and with the three exciting models to come, it is looking like it could be yet another successful year for Lexus. Contact your nearest Inchcape Lexus Centre.
