Inchcape LexusGazoo Racing had a successful endurance weekend at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, with the RC F taking the victory in SP-PRO class and finished 24th overall out of 158.

These types of races provide ample amounts of data with which to improve the road going versions of the models, which in the past has helped to develop the world renowned LF A supercar, and with the mileage covered in all conditions Lexus hopes that these races can help in the further development of the RC F and RC.

The class-winning RC F was developed in tandem with TOM’S Racing Team from Japan, who also ran an RC F at the ‘ring, and with its expertise available along with Lexus’s resources, development of the road car is hopefully going to lead to even better road versions – although unfortunately the Lexus RC didn’t finish due to drivetrain issues.

To stay up to date with Lexus models, including the RC F, contact your nearest Inchcape Lexus dealership to see if the improvements on the track have made an impression on the road cars.
