The Lexus IS has been crowned the overall Driver Power 2015 champion, as revealed by survey creators Auto Express, the first manufacturer to knock Skoda off of the top spot in four years.
Auto Express’s Driver Power survey asks motorists to rate their cars based on factors such as reliability, running costs, practicality and in-car technology. The weekly publication surveyed 61,113 owners for this year’s edition.
The third-generation IS not only topped the overall winner’s chart with a satisfaction rating of 93.96 per cent, but also found success in the ease of driving category. Meanwhile, the saloon was not the only Lexus to make the Driver Power 2015 top 10, with the NX SUV entering in at No. 6 of the best cars to own.
In other areas, the IS scored three other podiums, achieving second in terms of ride quality and third in the reliability and build quality categories.
