Lexus has introduced the 300h edition on to its range. This special edition model is aimed at business drivers and is on sale now with a price tag of £29,995.
The 300h is already a winner with many customers thanks to it being a cost effective proposition. It offers low tax and running costs delivered by its highly efficient and refined hybrid powertrain. The luxury Japanese brand is aiming to help customers save even more money by adding the new Executive Edition model to the range.
Plenty of goodies come as standard on the Lexus 300h Executive Edition. Highlights include leather upholstery and Lexus Navigation system, in addition to a wealth of equipment, comfort and styling features provided by the existing Luxury grade model. With this additional kit, the saving that the customer receives is around the £3,390 mark.
There’s also front and rear parking sensors, vitally important if you are parking in cramped city centres for meetings, 17-inch alloy wheels, dusk-sensing HID headlights, cruise control, auto-dimming rear view mirror, dual-zone climate control and rain-sensing wipers.
Under the bonnet the Lexus has a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and this is mated to an electric motor to generate 181bhp and this version comes with 221Nm of torque. This bodes well for acceleration and it can complete the benchmark sprint in 8.3 seconds.
Fuel economy and emissions look good too, Lexus claims the Hybrid Drive system returns a claimed 64.2mpg whilst emitting 103g/km of CO2 – the same as Luxury models.
