Pharmaceutical and healthcare resourcing company Star Medical Ltd has chosen Lexus for its new vehicle fleet.

Star Medical Ltd has chosen Lexus for its new vehicle fleet.

This decision is based on its careful research into the quality and environmental responsibility of the Japanese brand.

The deal will see Star Medical take delivery of CT 200h and IS 300h models – cars that will be used by its customer-facing representatives on their visits to healthcare professionals.

Chairman of Star Medical, Tim Webster, said, “We share the same passion, customer focus and commitment to innovation as Lexus, making this an ideal fit for our business”.

“We work with the best people in healthcare, so it is extremely important for us that our contractors and clients are also aligned with premium, luxury brands, demonstrating their value to our business.”

“We take our responsibility to the world around us seriously. This partnership with Lexus enables us to reduce our impact on the environment and positively influence our contractors’ attitudes towards environmental responsibility.

Adding, “At the same time the low costs associated with Lexus hybrids help us increase our profitability, making this a very positive step for our business and therefore our customers.”

The superb environmental efficiency of Lexus hybrid powertrains was another reason why Star Medical was so keen to sign the two-year-renewal contract.

It’s easy to see why Star Medical chose these particular Lexus models – the CT 200h is the only full hybrid in the hatchback class and offers 78.5mpg with C02 emissions as low as 82g/km meaning it qualifies for a BIK company car tax rate of just 11 per cent.

Standard kit is impressive on the entry-level CT with climate control, power steering, MP3/iPod connection, alloy wheels and split/fold seats included.

Prices for the entry-level CT 200h start at £20,995 with optional extras available such as metallic paint and satellite navigation.

The IS 300h is also a great choice for fleet customers with economy figures of 65.7mpg and C02 emissions of just 99g/km giving the IS a BIK company car tax rate of only 12 per cent.

Standard kit with the cheapest IS 300h is generous with cruise control, iPod connection, alloy wheels, Bluetooth and DAD digital radio included.
