For Cobham U18 rugby team this achievement completes a fantastic year in which they became Surrey League One Champions for 2010/11, the eighth year in succession since they first won the Surrey U11 mini championships. During this time they have amassed 1,867 points for with a miserly 233 against and haven’t lost a match in the UK. The side boasts home-grown talent that has created 6 International players, 7 Divisional players and 19 County players and had both A and B teams in the same League One of the Surrey Leagues.

 

“At a time when youth are being disparaged for what they don’t achieve,” explains Neil McCallum, head coach, “this squad of young men work together, play together and support each other in a way that is a credit to Cobham Rugby, to Surrey Rugby and most importantly to themselves.”
