The Lexus CT200 – The right choice for DSV

The Lexus CT200h continues to show its credentials as an ideal, premium quality and very economic choice for fleet customers.
DSV Road Limited based in Purfleet, Essex a Global supplier of Transport and Logistics Solutions went to tender in August, with a view to obtaining 12 Lexus CT200h cars for their newly recruited graduates.
Chris Malyon, DSV Road, Director Sales and Marketing, said: “The DSV group places great emphasis on ensuring that our operations are as economical and environmentally friendly as possible - from utilising the most fuel efficient trucks on the market to ensuring that our employees drive company cars that have minimal environmental impact.
“The new Lexus CT200h offers impressive gains in terms of reduced fuel consumption and reduced emissions output, helping us to improve efficiency throughout the organisation.”
The specific choice of the CT200h above all other models was based on the car enjoying the lowest CO2 levels, a very frugal 68.9 MPG and a company car benefit in kind (BIK) of just 10%.
Tom Pollard, Divisional Corporate manager based at Lexus Guildford, said, “Through a joint initiative between Lexus Guildford and Alphabet (GB) Limited, we brought the manufacturer to the party and secured terms above and beyond what a normal dealer or leasing company could offer”.
“We recognized DSV’s intentions to offer new employees cars that would have the minimal impact on the environment, be as fuel efficient as possible and offer the lowest rate of company car tax, all of which fits with the green credentials and employee satisfaction that DSV demonstrate”, he added.
Delivery of the 12 vehicles will take place in November and since placing the initial order, DSV have placed another order for 2 more CT200h.
